Wicked, the multi-awarded Broadway musical production based on Gregory Maguire’s 1995 novel, has a month long engagement at the Ohio Theatre in Columbus from April 22 through May 17.
Even before Dorothy arrived in Munchkinland, the battle between good and evil has been raging on in the Land of Oz. Wicked tells of the story of two friends who chose different paths in life – Elphaba, who became the Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda, who became the Good Witch of the North. Theirs is a cautionary story of friendship, love, and trust that illustrates that, indeed, there are always two sides in every story. With Wicked, its Columbus audience will surely view the story of the Wizard of Oz in a different light.
The show times for Wicked at the Ohio Theatre on are at 8 PM from Monday to Saturday, with matinee shows at 2 PM every Saturday. The performances every Sunday are at 1 PM and 6:30 PM.
Wicked last played Columbus’ Ohio Theatre from August 17 to September 4, 2016. Prior to that, Wicked was in Columbus June 5 – 23, 2013.
