The critically acclaimed musical Wicked will be heading to the Sun City of Texas – El Paso. It will be staged in El Paso’s Plaza Theatre for two weeks in May 2015, from the 20th to the 31st. Wicked chronicles the life of Elphaba, a young woman cursed with emerald skin but blessed with an intelligent mind and a gift for strong and powerful words. It also tells the story of Galinda, Elphaba’s childhood friend but whose ambitious nature has caused their falling out. Both would become witches eventually, with Galinda emerging as Glinda the Good Witch of the North and Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West.
